The Community Photo Club NH was started by two local ladies with a passion for photography. Deb Ormsby and Linda Parenteau support each other through critiques, techniques and composition so they thought that their must be others just like them that would benefit from a group like this. They held the first meeting in which they were the only ones that attended. Not discouraged they kept trying and soon Richard Miller came along in the second meeting and from there on the rest is history. The club is steadily growing and now meets on a regular basis. They have set some strong goals for the future. The club is open to all levels of photographers so that the support is at it's best. Stop in and sit through a meeting anytime.

Meeting Times

The club holds thier meetings
the first and third Tuesday of every month. You will find the dates listed on our home page. Each meeting is used for review of past comments and also to review our monthly challenges. We plan for photo shoots, shows and anything else that might help us to promote the photographers in the club.

Challenges

Our challenges are decided by a member on the first meeting of each month. We take turns coming up with ideas that will challenge our skills in point of view, subject matter, focus, and composition. We usually leave the topic to each artists interpretation so that we get a wide range of photography. Occaisionally we have a specific challenge that requires more information in order to complete the challenge. The goal is to be creative, strengthen our skills and above all just have fun. It is always interesting to see each photographers interpretation as they are all so different.

The second meeting each month is to show and critique our photos from the challenge. This has been very helpful in understanding what others see in our work. We then edit our photos, mount and or frame them and they are put on show and are for sale at the Frame of Mind Art Studio. Check them out.
